Hi,
First time interrailing beginning of June and looking at the train times. Is my pass available for all trains?

Also, can I reserve seats in advance or do i do that when I get there?
Also, for my Bled- Rome the timetables have been updated and one of the routes departing at 8am is showing getting a bus can my interrail pass be used for this?
Thanks for the help
Liam

Hi Liam,

you do not need seat reservations for all journeys from Amsterdam to Bled.

Amsterdam - Berlin: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/amsterdam-berlin/[/ux]
Berlin - Prague: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/berlin-prague-train/[/ux]
Prague - Budapest: Take the two hourly Eurocity trains, no reservation required. You cannot use the "Regiojet" trains from Prague to Bratislava (en route to Budapest)
Budapest - Bled: Best option is the direct Eurocity from Budapest to Ljubljana, then local train to Lesce Bled. No reservation required. [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/travel-lake-bled-train/[/ux]

Could you please give me the exact connection from Bled to Rome you have been looking at? :)

Support our work and buy your official Interrail pass via our partner link: [ux]http://rail.shop/interrail/[/ux] - thank you! :)

Yes, you can make seat reservations on [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] for Amsterdam - Berlin and Berlin - Prague using the "seat only" option.

For Prague - Budapest you can use [ux]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux] and for Budapest - Ljubljana you would have to buy the reservations locally at a station (for instance in Berlin, Prague or Budapest).

Regarding your trip from Bled to Rome; I find the following:

Lesce Bled 0813 - 0908 Villach
Villach 1050 - 1353 Venezia Mestre > reservation required: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/eurocity-oebb-italia/274[/ux]
Venezia Mestre 1437 - 1810 Roma Termini > reservation required: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/frecciarossa/50[/ux]

I find no connection from Bled 0813 that includes a bus. Also, the summer timetables for Italy are not fully included yet.

Thank you for your reply!
Sorry it was the 10am train that has the bus connection! So the 8am route are all the trains valid with my pass?
Thanks
Liam

Sorry I cant find the exact connections you are talking about.

If there is a bus included this could either be the IC Bus from Villach to Venice for which a reservation is required: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/intercitybus-oebb/156[/ux]
or maybe the local bus in Gorizia which is explained here: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/italy-slovenia-train/[/ux]
