Hi Jessie,

a travel day is always one calendar day from 0000 to 2359 (eg on April 23 from 0000 to 2359); the only exception would be the 19:00 rule for night trains which is explained here: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train[/ux]
This means that if you would board a night train after 1900 on April 22 you would only have to use a travel day for April 23 and can travel from 1900 on April 22 until 2359 on April 23. However, you have to stay on the night train from April 22 to April 23.
