Hi guys,

I\'ve got a Eurail Global Flexi Pass, and want to get from Budapest to Venice.

Unfortunately the Rail Europe website only allows me to depart at 6.40 pm from Budapest and arrive 8.12am in Venice the next day.

Since i only have a limited amount of time, I want to take the 3.40pm from Budapest, arrive in Vienna 6.21pm, leave 7.23pm and finally arrive in Venice at 6.48 am. To do this, I have to book every ticket separately. It seems like the OBB website and the MAV website don\'t have a selection for Eurail discounts .

Anyone have any idea what to do?

Hi Flo,

I found them using Rail Europe. Also it is on the OBB Scotty Route Planner website.

Here they are in my google drive: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4MsxmquCjayam5NOWc1Wk1IaUU

I found the train/time I was looking for Vienna-Venice on Raileurope. Unfortunately it will only let me book seats, when I know there are sleepers available as I\'ve checked the OBB website. I guess OBB and DB rail don\'t let you book online using Eurail which is a shame.

OK; well I would recommend to travel like this:

Budapest Keleti 1740 - 2021 Wien Hauptbahnhof > Railjet train
Wien Hauptbahnhof 2127 - 0824 Venezia Santa Lucia > https://rail.cc/en/eurail-night-train/venice-vienna-en-236-nightjet/97

That way you would have more time in Budapest and wouldnt have to get up at 5 in the morning to change trains in Padova.
There would even be a later train (1840) from Budapest however with only six minutes to change trains in Wien I dont recommend that.

You can buy reservations for the nightjet (EN Vienna - Venice) from ÖBB via phone as discussed here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-krakow-vienna-night-train/f12597#54688

You can support our work by purchasing your official Eurail passes via our partner link to eurail.com: [ux]https://rail.shop/eurail[/ux] - thank you! :)
