hi!

planning on getting a Croatia country pass for 3 days within 1 month. plan to take night train from Zagreb to Knin (DNZ D 825) and go from Knin to Zadar:

- do i have to pay supplement on that train coz it's a night train?

- my journey starts on the 30th of June, so that's my first day of travel. that train departs at 22:55 on the 30th and arrives next day. i guess i have to use 2 travel days then, also considering that Knin is not my final destination but i take another train to Zadar. is that correct?

thx loads

hi Johannes... :)

you have to pay a supplement for a bed in a six-bed-compartment (couchettes) which will be around 15-20 EUR.
but there are also normal 2nd class seats in this train ... a reservation is around 2 EUR when you book it at Zagreb main station.

It is correct that you have to use 2 travel days. Normally one travel day would be enough:

But as it is you 1st travel day, you can not use the rule for the night-trains.

I hope this will help you ... and good choice, Croatia !! :)
have fun,
Peter
