When I ask for these city pairs, it asks to explain - explain what? How do I know the best routing - no map, etc.

Hi.
Do you want to travel by Interrail pass or point to point train tickets?
There are different routes available: https://rail.cc/en/train/copenhagen-to-krakow
The main route is Copenhagen to Berlin. Berlin to Warsaw. Warsaw to Krakow. Find schedules here: [ux]https://plan.rail.cc[/ux]
Other route is for example from Copenhagen to Ystad (Sweden) and from there by ferry to Świnoujście (Poland): https://rail.cc/en/interrail-ferry/ystad-swinoujscie/72
And on by train (summer months) to Krakow:

Hi!
Polferries (ferry Ystad - Swinoujscie) also offers a shuttle bus from Copenhagen to Ystad. That would be my preferred option:
Ferry from Copenhagen/Ystad to Swinoujscie, then night train to Krakow. :)

Oh sure. You are right, Flo. :)
I forgot - of course it makes sense to buy the bus shuttle and ferry in one ticket via Polferries: [ux]https://rail.shop/polferries[/ux]
:)
