Hi all
I'm going interrailing in July and August for 22 days (10 days in 22 days ticket) with my brother (argh!). The route so far is:
Fly to Prague
Prague to Vienna
Vienna to Budapest
Budapest to ??
?? to Split
Split to ??
?? to Nice and then TGV/Eurostar home.
We were just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for the ??'s! From Budapest we were thinking possibly Belgrade or Zagreb and from Split we're looking for a place or two in Italy, possibly Florence? Maybe visit Venice on the way.
Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Florence is heavily recommended, Rome even more so, if it's not too much out of the way. It's definitely not the cheapest places in Europe (thoug Venice is more expensive), but the amount of amazing architecture etc. justifies the prices.

Thanks! Yeah I know they're not the cheapest places, hence why we're spending the majority of the trip in Eastern Europe!
I've been to Rome before so not going to go there again on this trip, but it is amazing!
Florence it is then, I've heard lots of good things about it!
