I will be travelling with luggage from Munich to Rosenheim. Is there enough time to disembark with two large suitcases before the train starts the onward journey towards Freilassing

Thanks
Lawrence

Hi Lawrence,

this is no problem; but you should prepare for disembarking before the train stops at the station (eg get your luggage, coats etc and be at the doors when the train stops).
What ticket are you travelling with and what kind of train to you want to take?

Most trains will stop for at least three minutes at Rosenheim. Generally, disembarking will never be a problem if you are ready when the train stops at a station. If you have to collect all you belongings after the train comes to a halt at the platform things might be stressful especially at smaller stations where trains only stop for one minute. On almost all trains (at least in Germany) there will be loudspeaker announcements as well as visual information on displays inside the train about the next stop(s).

Have a nice trip; if you have more questions feel free to ask.
