Hi!
Yes, if you have an Interrail ticket you only need a reservation to travel on this night train. You can find the timings and reservations prices here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/krakow-vienna-en-402/70
Unfortunately it is not possible to make a reservation online. If you want to have the reservation before you travel you can use the reservation service of our partner interrail.eu - but this will come at a premium. I would recommend to make the reservation at a train station during your travel. What route have you planned?
Please support our work by purchasing your pass at our partner link to interrail.eu: [ux]http://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]. No extra costs for you, but you support us and get detailed help for your trip. Also, you can use the mentioned reservation service if you need it. Thanks! :)

Hi Flo and ADA123
I am making similar enquiries concerning that route (Vienna to Krakow and return) on 22 July and 23 July respectively. I have come up with similar results as you are telling us, Flo.
ÖBB who publicise the route as a "nightjet Partner" service advise that, at least from Australia, that the best way is as follows:
"to make reservations (as example with EURAIL or INTERAIL Pass), please do it over phone under 001 43 5 17 17 3 and you have to pay with credit card. You will get a customer number and a code for the ticket machine and pick it up in Austria, also we can send you the reservations by post for EUR 5,00. The reservation by e-mail is not possible anymore."
I hope this is of help ADA123.
Going off at a tangent: For those other ÖBB nightjet services which start or finish in Germany the DBahn online booking/reservations site is really good and enables reservations to be made online and e-tickets to be received by email before you start the journey.
However this method does not seem to work for the ÖBB nightjet routes which start or finish in Germany but run into or from Italy. Is this likely to change Flo?
Also the DBahn reservations can usually be made up to 92 days in advance, but I have read somewhere that this may be extended to 6 months - can this be true?
Cheers

Hey Richard,
thanks for explaining the possiblity buying the reservation from ÖBB.
Regarding the nightjets to Italy, there is a known bug in the DB booking system which prevents booking of these trains. It is unclear when it will be solved...
Pre booking time for DB trains has been extended to 180 days (including online purchases); ÖBB tickets are usually also available 180 days in advance; however there can be restrictions depending on the booking policies of foreign railways (for instance Germany <> Poland is available only 30 days in advance usually due to the pre booking times of PKP Intercity).
