Am intending travel :
Frankfurt airport to Munich on 5 december
Munich to Salzburg on 8 December
Salzburg to Vienna on 12 December
Vienna to Zurich 15 December (for the best views/experience
Zurich to Amsterdam - option 1 night train 15 December, option 2 fly on 16th
Amsterdam to London on 19th December (eurostar definately)
I'd like to know what would be best/cheapest pass to purchase or to buy each ticket separately. Have looked at many sites, just has me confused. Thanks for any advise, Sandy

Hi!
I assume you dont have residency in a European country? That would mean that you would have to buy a Eurail pass and looking at your trips I assume that it will be cheaper to buy single tickets.
Frankfurt Airport to Munich and Munich to Salzburg: Buy Sparpreis tickets from DB (German Railways). These are valid for the booked train only (no refund or exchange) but are the cheapest option. Tickets for DB: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
Salzburg to Vienna: Sparschiene tickets from ÖBB (Austrian Railways) are the cheapest option; again they are only valid on the booked train. Alternatively you can buy a ticket for Westbahn trains directly on board the train - this is the better option if you want to stay flexible: cheaper than full fare tickets of ÖBB trains but more expensive than Sparschiene tickets for ÖBB trains. Tickets for ÖBB: [ux]https://rail.shop/oebb/[/ux]
Vienna - Zürich: Sparschiene tickets are the way to go. Best views are between Innsbruck and Feldkirch (up to St Anton on the right), from Langen to Feldkirch on the left and from Buchs to Zürich (on the right).
Zürich - Amsterdam: No night train from December 11 (https://rail.cc/blog/night-trains-europe-preview-2017/)
Amsterdam - London: Book your ticket from NS (Dutch Railways): https://rail.shop/nsinternational/
