Hi all,

In addition to my winterrail with a family posting I came up with the plan to travel from the most northern railway station of Europe to the most southern. Narvik should be the most northern I guess but wich one is the most southern? Hope you can help me out on this

Well, Since I would take Narvik as well for your trip. Maybe have a drive around via Norway back down..

To find the most soutern station..
Just used http://www.openrailwaymap.org/ to find it, And since internet says that Punta de Tarifa, Spain is the southernmost point of Mainland Europe (could as well take the island of Gavdos, Greece, but no railway to be found there...). The station of Algeciras, Spain is the most near this point, and the most southern.

I'm sure you can make a beautiful trip between these points!

Hi friends

For northernmost passenger line in Europe try Murmansk Latitude 68.9585° N. More difficult to get to than Narvik [68.4385° N] though.

For southernmost passenger station try Algeciras Latitude 36°8'26.73N

Cheers

Richard
