Hi, I went interrailing last summer with the global pass. Now I would like to try with the one country pass. We plan to visit slovakia, slovenia, hungary and croatia, with a 3/4 day pass in each. My question is...when crossing the border, will one day be used up on each ticket? All these countries are next to each other, so it is likely trains will be direct, say, from Ljubljana to Budapest. In this case, would I have to mark both my slovenia card and my hungary card?
thanks!

hi.
yes ... you have to take 2 travel days... one from Slovenia, one from the Hungarian ticket. :(
mmmh... sometimes it is even cheaper to use a global pass then... or if you need in one country only one travel day of an InterRail One Country Pass, don't buy it. then it is cheaper to buy a normal city-to-city-ticket. especially in Eastern Europe. :)
have fun,
Peter

Hi,
graet webpage, very useful! :)
I would like to visit whole Poland this year. Would you recommend me one country pass? or maybe it would be better to use city-to-city tickets?
thanks :)

Hi Ann ...
it always depends on how many days you want to travel and especially on the distances you want to travel ... for Poland the InterRail One Country Pass is interesting and might be cheaper !! :)
to test it, click on the link bellow ... there you can select routes you want to travel and then when you have a connection, click on fares and you will see... so you can compare the city-to-city tickets to an InterRail pass. :)
