Hello guys,
I am planning an InterRail trip and I have decided to start from my home country (Greece) and take a ferry from Patras to either Bari or Ancona and then to Rome by train. First of all, can I get discount ferry tickets if I'm leaving my home country and if so, do I need to use a travel day to do so? If I do, I'll use it to also travel from Athens to Patras by train. If I don't, I'll take a bus at my own expense and I'll start counting days when I arrive to Italy.
I guess my question in short is: Can I get from Athens to Italy and/if I a) travel to Patras at my own expense, b) get a ferry discount and c) use only 1 travel day?
Thanks for your help. :D
