Hi This juli I'm planning on going on my first trip with interrail. My plan is to visit Germany, Czeck republic, Poland and Switzerland and or Austria. My plan is then to purchase 7 days interrail.

But I have one or two questions.

Q1: My travel is planned to start on a monday in middle of sweden. From here I will travel by train to Malmö. Then from Malmö to Berlin with nightrain (arrival on tuesday). If I choose to use the card from middle of sweden. Will both monday and tuesday be used as traveldays?
But if I choose to start use my interrailcard with nightrain from Malmö to Berlin, then the next day will be my first travel day?

Q2: Must all travels by train be written down, say if I Just take a lot of diffrent trains one or two stations?

Thats for now.

Hi Andreas!

A1: If you start from your hometown you would need two travel days. If you use Interrail only for the night train from Malmö to Berlin you would need only one travel day, however the Interrail pass has to be valid already on the day you leave from Malmö.

A2: Yes, all trains have to be written down, for example if you travel from town A to town B and change trains in town C you have to write both trains: from A to C and from C to B.

We are official partners of interrail.eu - to support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you! :)
