Hello. We're starting our First Interrail Trip on monday from Germany To Budapest , then Budapest - Zagreb , then Zagreb - Trieste . And there's our Problem . There is a Connection in the Interrail Plan At 12:37 trough Villach and udine and then Trieste . This Journey seems really Long and we'd arrive At 11 AM. But i found on the German Railway Homepage At 12:37 Through Jesnice (slowenia) and then Nova gorica . Then we Would have To Go To gorizia centrale (How do we come there?) and then Trieste. This Connection isn't show in the Interrail Timetable and we dont want which one is right . Can someone help us ? Or did this journey before???
Thanks so much in advance!

Hi Marlene,
I hope you purchased your Interrail tickets through our partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] to support our work. Thank you.
You can of course travel as the DB planner suggests - we always use [ux]http://plan.rail.cc/[/ux]
To get from Nova Gorica to Gorizia Centrale you can either walk (just use Google Maps for directions) or the bus that leaves in front of the station building.

Maybe it´s too late for you, but there is another option to go from Zagreb to Trieste:
You can go from Zagreb to Ljubljana and from there you can take a train to Villa Opicina.
Villa Opicina is the upper town of Trieste and from there you can take the historical tram to Trieste city (distance between railway station Villa Opicina and stop of the tram is about 10 minutes).
I think this route can be the shortest.
The other option (Jesenice-Nova Gorica) is the famous Wocheinerbahn (nice track with beautiful landscape):
