Hi all,
My friends and I are travelling as part of our route from Nice to Barcelona and we were wondering which train to take.
On this website the following times are not mentioned and I am wondering if there is a reason for this:
Nice 07:24 - Barcelona 16:34
Nice 08:04 - Barcelona 16:34
Nice 10:24 / 10:55 - Barcelona 19:31
I am also wondering why the following route is not recommended:
Nice 12:23 - Barcelona 20:34

schedules on this website are normally just suggestions, the full schedule is only available on online schedule planners such as [ux]http://plan.rail.cc/[/ux]
All these departures require reservations for a domestic TGV or IC (9/18€, depending on when you book, available via [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf/reservation/[/ux]) plus a reservation for the TGV to Spain, example reservation fares here: [u]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/tgv-france-spain/sncf-tgv/298[/u] Reservations for the TGV to Spain are not available online.
Connections without reservations are available, but journey time will be longer, for instance Nice dep 0858 - Barcelona arr 2139
To look for such connections, deselect high-speed trains (ICE) in the advanced options of [ux]http://plan.rail.cc/[/ux]
If you want to save money, travel to Nimes without TGV/IC but use regional trains instead, then take the TGV to Barcelona.
