Hello everyone, :D
I am planning to make my first interrail this july 2016 with a friend.
We would like to make a trip to Eastern Europe. We'd like to visit at least Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava, Krakow within 12 days. Is this realistic or should we visit more/other cities?
I've read some things, and i would like to ask if it's worth buying an interrail pass for 15 days in Eastern Europe? Or is it better to buy the tickets single, isn't it cheaper?
Since this is our first interrail we would also ask about the accomodation in this region, should we travel with a tent or hostels and so are Ok/price reasonable.
We are planning to start our journey in Prague on 22/07 and end it in Krakow by 02/08. Any other tips and advices would be great! :D
Thank you in advance,

Hi!
There is no general answer whether Interrail is a good option for travel in Eastern Europe - it all depends on each individual route.
In your case, you could get away cheaper with normal tickets if you buy advance fare tickets which are only valid in the train you booked - you lose all flexibility.
However, since you only have 12 days and four train trips and the shortest/cheapest Interrail ticket is for 5 trips within 15 days you are probably better off with regular tickets. ;)
For tickets Prague - Vienna, check [ux]https://rail.shop/cd/[/ux]
Vienna - Budapest, check [ux]https://rail.shop/oebb/[/ux]
Budapest - Bratislava buy locally for 17,50€
Bratislava - Krakow is not available online as far as I know, for ticket prices ask via email at http://slovakrail.sk/
Another option would be to buy Vienna - Bratislava locally for 16€, then Bratislava - Budapest locally for 17,50€, then look if the night train Budapest - Krakow is available online at [ux]https://rail.shop/mav/[/ux]
