Sad news... according to this topic ([ux]http://www.drehscheibe-online.de/foren/read.php?30,7797299,7798723[/ux]) the International trains between Thessaloniki/Skopje/Beograd are cancelled till mid-summer, and also in autumn. Anyone knows if there are alternatives to get to Skopje and further?

I've already updated the blog https://rail.cc/blog/belgrade-skopje-thessaloniki-train/ accordingly.

There are certainly several buses on the route which of course do not accept rail tickets. By rail you currently have to go via Sofia to get to Greece.

Mmh...ok...so we will probably see the train running to Gevgelija in summer with replacement bus from there to Thessaloniki, depending on the situation on the border. And no service at all until then and in autumn.

But from Gevgelija to Skopje there are regular trains, right? And then from Skopje to Beograd one can also travel via Kosovo (not included in interrail) or not?

Yeah, Gevgelija - Skopje (- Tabanovici) traffic should run as normal. However, I dont think that MZ will run replacement services for the international services so there are probably just the regular stopping trains operating.
Transfer through Kosovo should run as usual - are you travelling with passport or ID card? There can be problems if you travel from Kosovo to Serbia as you do not get your passport stamped > if you leave Serbia to another country this can cause problems.
