Bled - Venice

Hi Chloe. This has already been answered in the previous topic I replied too... I suggest you look at the map more clearly. You can see that lake bled is very closely located to Ljubljana, hence you know already how to go to Venice. Either go via Jesenice / Nova Gorica or Villa Opicina / Trieste.

Hiya,
Yeah I can see how that is one way to get to Venice. I just wondered if there was a quicker way. I understand from the map that I can go from Bled- Nova Gorica easily.
But on the Rail.cc map of rail connections there is no connections between nova gorica and venice?
This is the part I am confused about! If not, I'll follow your advice and go to Ljubljana and then to venice :)

I personally use multiple planners and trust the one that shows me the best route :D

Hey!

We cannot show all available connections and trains on rail.cc - as we are a small group of rail travellers without big funds this is simply beyond our limitations. ;)
But we can help you with knowledge about the best routes, where to look for connections etc.

[b]Nova Gorica - Gorizia Centrale[/b]: by city bus line 1. Information here: [u]http://www.aptgorizia.it[/u] - frequent and cheap (EUR 1,50 if I remember right).
Calculate one hour for this change to have it the relaxed way.

[b]Gorizia Centrale - Venice[/b]: free local train - [u]http://plan.rail.cc/Gorizia-Centrale/Venezia-Santa-Lucia[/u]

All in all very easy to do this trip.
