Hi folks! This is my very first forum post.

I've been recently planning to go inter-railing on the 22 day Global PASS, my travel buddy dropped out on me due to personal reasons.

I've been looking to go ahead with it for this summer (Life dream of mines) Any help would be massively recommended, hoping to find straight from Ireland to somewhere cheap and start my journey.

I'm an young Irish lad, with plenty of life experience so far so anything and all is welcomed here.

Let's start with where do you wanna go to and what do you want to see? We all can support you with the information, but Europe is just to big to recommend something.
Despite that, I can recommend Switzerland :)

Hi!

If you want to avoid the UK and prefer ground travel, have a look at the ferries from Dublin and Rosslare to France (Cherbourg), certainly a nice way to start your travel.
Given your location it might be quicker though to travel across the UK and start with the Dover - Calais or Harwich - Hoek van Holland ferry: https://rail.cc/blog/from-london-to-amsterdam-with-the-dutchflyer/

Where do you want to go? East, west, north, south? :)
And do you want to get the full 22 day continuous pass?
