Hello! I'm thinking about inter-railing three weeks in August. To be honest its been a fantasy of mine for a long time but I have never done anything like this. I'll be travelling alone and the only way I can do this is choosing the most budget friendly option every time. Your blog has been really helpful and got me wish doing it even more.
I have doubts of how much time expend in each city because I want to visit the most I can but also enjoy properly the city. I had to ruled out a few cause my original plan was to much. Its really sad there no much option to travel overnight anymore. I also doubt if the 7days pass will be enough (taking separate tickets when needed) and cheaper or got the 10 day pass? Will be cheaper than no pass?
This is what I got so far:
30 Jul, arrive at Brussels. Make one day for either Brugges or Ghent.
2 Aug, plane to Copenhagen. Id like to visist Aarhus too.
5 Aug, AARHUS 1345 IC 144 to HAMBURG 1851 IC 2073 to BERLIN 2055
9 Aug, BERLIN 0703 EC 171 to DRESDEN 0858
DRESDEN 1908 EC 179 to PRAGUE 2128
12 Aug, PRAGUE 1352 EC 173 to BUDAPEST 2035. 3 days in Sziget Festival.
16 Aug, night train from BUDAPEST EN 462 to SARGANS 0723.
17 Aug, Graubunden detour.
0733 SARGANS IC 557 to CHUR 0758 RE 1121 to SAMEDAN 0948 RE 1923 to PONTRESINA 0955
here I have to look up about hiking in Morteratsch Glazier // Ospizio Bernina-Alp Grum.
18 Aug, PONTRESINA to TIRANO // TIRANO to MILANO
21 Aug, I either come back home from Milano or travel to Nice on Saturday and expend the Sunday in the beach until my night flight back home.
What do you guys think?
Do you advise to make any train reservations? How much anticipation to book the night train?
Im looking for hostels and airbnb, is reasonable to plan for around 20e/night? Its August, when should I start booking?
Wow this was long, thanks for reading. :))

Hi!
Personally, I would try to avoid the flight Brussels - Copenhagen https://rail.cc/en/train/brussels-to-copenhagen since I prefer to travel by train only but I know that it is a long trip since the Amsterdam - Copenhagen night train doesnt run anymore. :|
Make a seat reservation for the train to Sziget! Trains to/from Sziget are always full of people, and can be quite full even during Sziget week.
Also, make the reservation for the night train early.
You will definitely enjoy the Graubünden tour! :)
I recommend to stay at Pontresina Youth Hostel directly opposite the station, or even at Albergo Ospizio Bernina on top of Bernina pass.
You can easily walk to Morteratsch Glacier from Morteratsch station during one day (it is about 4km one way) and even head to St Moritz or Bernina Pass too.
If you end your trip in Milan, then the 5in15 would be the best option probably. You will then need extra tickets for Brussels - Brugge/Gent - Brussels.
If you want to go to Milan, you can do the same and buy an extra ticket for Thello direct train via [ux]https://rail.shop/omio[/ux] or thello.com
