Vienna - Lesce Bled

Hi,

On here and on train line Europe, it states that there is a a train from Vienna - Lesce Bled leaving at 12:25.

However, I cant find this on the reservations service or on the rail app planner, does my pass still cover this train and if so how do I reserve?

Hi Courtney,

there are no direct trains from Vienna to Lesce Bled.
The connection you are referring to probably is:

Vienna Hauptbahnhof dep 1225
Vienna Meidling dep 1232
Villach arr 1646
change trains
Villach dep 1653
Lesce Bled arr 1750

You'll find it for example with [ux]http://plan.rail.cc/[/ux] - dont know why it doesnt show up on the App, could have something to do with the date you are looking for.

Of course your Interrail pass covers these trains; reservation is not compulsory and personally I wouldnt bother getting one. If you want, buy one locally at the train station in Vienna (3,50€ for each train).

In general, I'd only make reservations for trains where it is compulsory and travel without reservation on all other trains.
