NSB Komfort- Travel in a little more comfort

How would you like a little more comfort or your own workspace on the train? NSB Komfort is a separate section of the train where everything is designed for a relaxing and productive journey.
Extra\'s: Power outlets and Coffee/tea/newspapers.

Reservation of a Komfort seat: NOK 90
NSB Komfort looks like a 1st class on first sight, but is that true?
Can I travel with my 2nd class Interrail on the NSB Komfort (when booked a reservation)?

Hi!

NSB Komfort is no real first class; as it is available to 2nd class pass/ticket holders at a surcharge.
When travelling with 2nd class Interrail, you pay a higher reservation fee and can then use NSB Komfort.
If you had a 1st class pass, you would get the reservation for free.

Seats are basically the same and they are arranged 2+2 (instead of 2+1 in real 1st class) but the seat pitch is wider and free coffee/tea/hot chocolate certainly is nice to have especially on longer routes and when looking at prices of NSB Meny. ;)

Hi Wouter

I found that NSB Komfort was as good as (if not better than) a number of First class trains that I have travelled on.
Pretty good for the quite small extra reservation fee that you have to pay!

Cheers
