Hi Im a first time traveler and a bit confused by the 7pm rule.
I want to travel from Turku to Rovaniemi and back again with a interrail one country pass Finland.
I found this connection which I believe falls under the 7pm rule

09:30 PM TURKU
10.47 AM ROVANIEMI

but on the way back I could only find an overnight connection with a change in Tampere

09:15 PM ROVANIEMI (Finland)
05:46 AM TAMPERE (Finland)
05:56 AM
07:50 AM TURKU (Finland)

would that trip be considered as being in one day?
Thank you, I am grateful for any help.

Hi!

The 19:00-rule would apply for the connection from Rovaniemi to Turku, as the night train arrives after 04:00 in Tampere. You can then use as many trains as you want on that day.
Unfortunately the direct night train Rovaniemi - Turku cant be used with the 19:00-rule as it leaves Rovaniemi too early: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/rovaniemi-turku-p-266-904/367

We are official partners of interrail.eu - to support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you! :)

PS: If you know by any chance a student from Graz who is currently also studying in Turku, tell her hi! ;)
