Hi,

I've read in some posts that the connection between Amsterdam airport and Amsterdam Centraal is included with the interrail pass.

I've got a global pass so have to fill out my journey details for each trip, I'm looking at staying at the airport for the sheer cheapness of the rooms there.

I was wondering if I travelled in and out of the city using my pass would I have to record it for every time i travelled back and forth? And if so what happens if I run out of room on my pass in the journey details section?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Not sure about that, but if you don't want them to be registred as travel days: Schiphol-Amsterdam is only 4,20 (single trip) with the train.

Train traveling by our local transporter NS is included in Interrail. Although I will not recommend to use your Interrail 'day', that's about €30 per day, for a traveling day that will cost you about €10.

Train station Schiphol Airport is directly under the hall located.
For departing examples times have a look at: [ux]https://www.rijdendetreinen.nl/vertrektijden/station/schiphol-airport[/ux]
For your timetable check in in front: [ux]http://www.ns.nl[/ux] Make sure to check when this before departing.
Trains towards Amsterdam Centraal mostly depart from track 3, like every 5-10 minutes in different 'train types'. Every type of train is allowed on your Interrail or normal ticket expect the Thalys.
Traveling time is about 15-18 minutes.

You will need to buy a single use OV-Chipcard. That means €1 extra on your ticketprice for this single use card.
Ticketprice is 4.20 single ride, return tickets can be bought directly, and is just 8.40 but on a single use card (+ 1).
Both the normal (not recommended) and Single use cards are available from the yellow ticket machines with the blue overhead sign reading ‘traintickets’. The ticket machines are located near the platforms at in the hall (Plaza). Tickets (for domestic and international travel) are also available from the ticket machines and Service desks. Staff at the desk will also be able to provide you with train departure information and general information on travelling by train in the Netherlands. Waiting time can be a little bit longer there. Servicedesk ticket price is also including a fee (not sure how many).

The local transporter GVB in Amsterdam offers as well daytickets €7,50, 2 days €12,50. For the paper single use cards visit one of the touristinfo's.

I've got the continuous 1 month global pass does that still use travel days?

Hi!

Since you have a continuous Global Pass (which you hopefully bought through our partner link with interrail.eu at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] ;) ) you dont have to worry about travel days.
However, you have to fill in all trips, including the short trips between Schiphool and Centraal (although in practice no one will really bother checking). In case you run out of lines in the travel report there are two extra pages at the end of the Interrail Pass Guide you should have got with your ticket. You can also download and print extra pages from [ux]http://www.eurailgroup.org/~/media/48BC3F669EDD40519E32BD4AA2AAA315.ashx[/ux]
