Hi all, looking for a bit of help.

I was trying to organise a trip for my girlfriends birthday next week and it's starting to turn into a very expensive nightmare :(

I purchased a pair of Interrail passes so we could go from London to Paris and then Paris to Venice and then Venice to Florence, during the 6 days we both have off work.

I didn't read the small print enough and as this was a fairly last minute decision, stupidly presumed the pass would cover most of our rail costs. It now looks like I am going to end up spending close to £1000 just on travel :(

One opportunity I have to use the passes is proving a problem for me. I want to book overnight trains from Paris to Venice and vice versa and both the Interrail site and the Thello site say I can use them for 25% discounts, however every time I try to book I cannot find the 'enter promo code' section that is mentioned. I have taken the sale all the way through to the credit card payment bit and still no joy. Does anyone know where it should be?

I really am so fed up :( This was supposed to be a nice trip away, but through my own stupidity it has turned into a nightmare.

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi!

On the Thello website, look for a connection on your travel date and click on search. On the following page the night train should be displayed - click on the price (choose) to show all available fares. There should be an option view other offers, click there. Now, select the special fare from the drop down offer menu and enter your Interrail Pass number to get the discount.
