Hi guys,
I'm going to buy 2 one-country pass (Spain+Portugal) but I don’t know how the border’s cross works. Will I be using two interrail’s days (one for the Spanish section + one for Portugal) or will I be spending just one interrail’s day because I’m on the same train? Anyway, what’s the better solution?
Thanks a lot
Alessandro

Hi!

You will need one travel day on each pass.
IMO it could be better to either buy a Global Pass or just a OC Pass for Spain and travel with normal tickets in Portugal. You should compare the regular train fares in Portugal (and Spain).

Hi.
For Spain there is also a RENFE-Pass: https://rail.shop/acprail/renfepass/
But it depends ony your route and travel days if it is worth... at least it is easier with reservations (required with Interrail for most of the trains).
Pete :)
