Hey, me and two friends are going interrailing in the summer and we were wondering if someone could help us plan our route as we have no knowledge of this area. We plan to visit the destinations in the title and will use trains accessible with our interrailing cards. How many travel days will we need? What trains should we take? Any advice would be greatly appreciated:)

Hi!

How long do you want to travel - what kind of Interrail pass do you want to get?
Paris to Berlin and Berlin to Venice are rather long journeys involving trains with compulsory reservations if you want to take the fastest options. I'd recommend to fit in at least one additional stop in between - for instance Bruxelles, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Cologne on the way to Berlin and Prague, Vienna, Munich on the way to Venice.
Your current route would be possible with just three travel days if you use trains with compulsory reservation. Depending on your resources I would recommend to get a 7 day in one month Interrail pass https://rail.cc/en/interrail-global-pass which would give you great flexibility and allow you to add some extra stops.

We are official partners of interrail.eu - to support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] :arr: https://rail.cc/en/plus
Thank you! :)

Hi, thanks for the reply :) We are planning to go for 14 days and will spend 2/3 days in each location. I will ask my friends which of the additional destinations they would like to visit however for the moment could you possibly post links of trains ( interrail)from Paris : Berlin , Berlin: Venice and Venice to Rome ? Apologies if these train are extremely easy to find and I am a just being an idiot but I can't seem to find any information about them. Thank you very much.

Just use the schedule planner: [ux]http://plan.rail.cc/[/ux]

You will see that there are many different options. If you want to go directly from Paris to Berlin, the routes via Frankfurt/Main are most suitable but keep in mind that the direct ICE/TGV trains between France and Germany require a seat reservation (13€).
From Berlin to Venice the best options are via Munich - for instance by ICE to Munich, then with CNL night train to Venice.
From Venice to Rome you have hourly high speed trains (Frecciargento), 10€ seat reservation.
