This is my first time on a foreign country and same time at Interrail. Thanks in advance for your help.
I m planning an interrail trip (200 Euros) at end of March 2016 with my best friend. I m searching for help. I m traveling by plane from Athens to Bratislava (Slovakia) (35 Euros - help for something more cheap), then by train to Praga (Prague - Czech) (1st day of Interrail). Then by train to Paris (10 euros plus) (2nd day). Then by Train to Barcelona (+10 Euros) (3rd day) and same day calculated to Madrid. Then by plane to Rome. Then by train to Napoli (4rd day) and from Napoli to Florence (10 Euros Plus). From Florence to Venice and from Venice to Milan (5th day). From Milan to Athens (20 Euros).
Sleep nights: 1 Rome (hostel), 1 Venice (hostel), 6 hours Milan (hostel).
Bratislava, Madrid and Paris I m going to stay at friend's of mine.
Prague at hostel with 5 friends of mine that travel only to Prague.
If you could give me an order of steps of my movements-reservations.
My mind:
1) air tickets
2) interrail ticket 5days and chosen period (1-2:on Tuesday 26th January)
3) hostel booking and country to country train booking (end of February)
4) no booking in Italy trains. Instant board. Will I have problem of availability for that trains, etc Rome-Napoli, Napoli-Florence?
My main aim is to visit France, Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Chech Republic with train cost 200 Euros for Interrail + 30 Euros for booking + 80 Euros for planes.
My budget is 800 Euros for everything and its upper bound is 1000 Euros.
I want to minimize extra and not calculated expenses.
Check more info at my profil. Feel free to ask me more.
Thanks again for your valuable time.

Hi!
It seems as if your route is a bit overambitious.
You want to buy the 5in15 days Interrail ticket? So, you would have five travel days and use them as follows?
Travel day 1) Bratislava - Prague
2): Prague - Paris
3) Paris - Barcelona - Madrid
4) Rome - Napoli - Florence
5) Florence - Venice - Milan
Or do you want to buy separate tickets for some routes?
Have you already planned any routes - did you check schedules at [ux]https://plan.rail.cc[/ux]?

Yes, its exactly as you say. I ve planned some routes, but I m completely inexperienced.
Specifically,
1) Bratislava-Prague 22:58-06:43 (0 Euros fee)
2) Prague-Paris 08:29-20:54 (13 Euros fee)
3) Paris-Barcelona either through Portbou 21:56-11:09 or through Latour-de-Carol 21:56-11:56 (9 Euros fee)
Same day, Barchelona-Madrit 20:00-23:10 (10 Euros fee)
4) Rome - Napoli 09:39-11:43 (0 Euros fee)
Napoli-Florence 16:30-19:22 (10 Euros fee)
5) Florence - Venice 07:10-11:17 (0 Euros fee)
Same day Venice - Milan 17:07-20:35 (0 Euros fee)
My ideal plan would be instead of Napoli if I could be an evening in Siena for a coffee without any extra fee. Rome-Siena-Florence (sleep night)-Venice or Rome-Florence-Siena (sleep night)-Venice.
There is also an alternative if I find plane tickets from Greece to Paris and from Bratislava to Greece under 60 Euros total to go first at Paris and from Milan-Prague 06:39-22:44 (0 Euros fee) then from Prague-Bratislava 13:42-17:50 (0 Euros fee).
I want advice if this schedule is feasible for a first-timer and certain advice on bookings and howto, where to go and what to pay attention to.

OK I see. That is a good plan, I like the trips you have chosen. :)
You know that you can make reservations for trains in France online at [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf/reservation[/ux]?
Roma - Siena is easily possible with regional trains - change at Chiusi. Also Siena - Florence is no problem.
Barcelona - Madrid reservation is available online at [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/reservation/[/ux] however you would need to pay for postal shipment. I would instead recommend buying it in Prague main station (or Bratislava).

Thank you very much.
No I know nothing about reservations and I also dont know how I will choose the right train and how I will choose online that I am a holder of an interrail pass. I suppose browsing these sites, I won't have any problem. If I buy it in Prague will it be the same price and there will be availability (5-6 days before).
For Rome-Florence-Chiusi-Siena-Venice, I will just go to the rail station show my interrail pass and can board free of charge?

When travelling in Italy, you can board Intercity and regional trains without doing anything extra. You just have to fill in the travel report of your Interrail ticket and show your ticket to the inspector.
Do not use Frecciabianca, Frecciargento, Frecciarossa trains as these require a 10€ reservation.
If you go at [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf/reservation/[/ux] you are directly at the reservation site for SNCF trains. Just select seat reservation, Global Pass and 2nd class and you can search for connections.
If Paris - Portbou is not available, try Paris - Cerbere instead. Cerbere is the French border station, just stay on the train across the border to Portbou, the Spanish border station.
Regarding the reservation for the train to Paris and the train Barcelona - Spain. These are normally available at the station (in Prague or Bratislava at international ticket counter); also a few days in advance.
For travel Prague - Paris you can also look for connections that only include TGV train from Strasbourg to Paris. So you could buy the reservation for the TGV online at rail.shop/sncf/reservation
You could also think of travelling Zurich - Basel overnight using CNL train, then take a TGV Mulhouse - Paris (travel Basel - Mulhouse with local train). However, as the night train leaves Prague before 19:00 you cant use the 1900 rule for night trains. To avoid having to use two travel days, you could buy a ticket for travel from Prague to the first stop at Usti and use Interrail and the 1900 rule from there.

No.
You can only use suburban trains (Proastiakos) operated by railway companies that accept Interrail.

I ve found this train from Wien to Munich (on Site from Budapest to Munich through Wien)

On Site I can found it from Budapest, but not from Wien.
I suppose its possible to take it from Wien to Munich and then From Munich to Paris. Right?
I m thinking of changing my trip and instead of Prague to go 12 hours to Budapest and one night at Wien.

Its perfect because we change only one train in Munich and we can reserve both online.! And its less time on train.
So our new program is:
Bratislava - Budapest 09-12 or 05:30-9
Budapest-Vienna 21-23:43 (first day) 1 accomodation or 18-21:30.
Vienna-Munich-Paris 23:34 - 12:23 (second day).
Thank you very much again.!

I bought interrail pass valid from 20th March 2016. (Check if it is valid and on 3rd April please).
We are 3 people.
My final trip is as follows:
1) 17/3 16:25-17:35 Athens-Bratislava 23 Euros (plane)
17,18,19/3 Accomodation (A) in Bratislava (free)
2) 20/3 Bratislava-Budapest either 05:48-08:35 Euronight or 09:53-12:35 Eurocity. (0 Euros) (1st day interrail)
3) 20/3 Budapest-Vienna either 18:10-21:12 Eurocity (0 euros) or 21:00-23:43 Euronight (5 Euros) (1st day)
20/3 (A) Vienna (pay)
4) 21/3 23:43-06:10 vienna-Munich Euronight (5 Euros fee) 06:27-12:35 Munich-Paris TGV (13 euros) (2nd day)
QUESTION 1: IS THE CHANGE SAFE?
22,23,24,25/3 (A) Paris (2 people pay, 1 free)
5) Paris - Barcelona 07:13-13:30 TGV (9 Euros) (3rd day)
QUESTION 2: WHY IS IT NOT AS HIGLY RECOMMENDED? IS THERE ANY PROBLEM?
26,27 (A) Barcelona (either all free or all pay depends still)
6) 28 16:25-18:55 Barcelona-Madrid AVE (10 Euros) (4th day)
28,29,30,31 (1 free, 2 depends)
7) 1/4 09:45-12 Madrid - Milan 23 Euros (plane)
(A) Milan
8) 2/4 07:25-11:55 Milan-Venice Regionale (5th day)
9) 2/4 16:25-18:30 Venice-Florence Frecciargento (10 Euros) (5th day)
10) 22:04-23:35 2/4 Florence-Rome Frecciarossa (10 Euros) (5th day)
QUESTION 3: Can we avoid extra 10 Euros from Florence-Rome if we use the same train Frecciargent at the same kind of itinenary but 3 hours later? I mean 16:25-18:30 Venice-Florence (no Rome) and 3 hours later Florence-Rome as a continue, but with a 3 hour stop.
2,3,4 (A) Rome
5/4 21:30-00:25 Athens-Rome 20 Euros (plane)
QUESTION 4: Is there any alternative that I can combine Florence-Venice having 1day available on Interrail Pass and be able to pay up to 25 Euros more in total for train trips in Italy. (I dont care about Milan).

1) The change is quite safe; the night train to Munich has a long stop in Salzburg so can compensate delays until then. It is also considered to be a connection for the TGV to Paris so the train to Paris will also wait a few minutes. Of course, you can never guarantee a connection. You can have a look at the delay statistic of this train at [ux]http://www.zugfinder.de/zuginfo.php?zugnr=EN_462[/ux]
2) Because it is very expensive; I have seen that there is an error - the TGV reservation for travelling from Paris to Barcelona is about 25€. Sorry for the confusion! :|
I strongly recommend to stick to your initial plan and take the night train from Paris which will be 9€ when booked early.
3) No, you have to pay for each train you take. If you want, I would recommend to take an Intercity train from Venice to Florence, this can be used without a reservation (although it is recommended to get one for 3€ to have a safe seat).
4) I dont really understand the question I'm afraid.

4) I mean that I have paid for 5 days in 15 interrail and I have used them all.
Now its the 6th day or anyway a date not written on interrail pass, but my interrail is valid (its on the 15 days). Do I have any discount for train tickets and if yes in which? I 'm asking for Italy trains.

Only Pass InterRail fares on domestic French routes and some internationals carriers are proposed. To access all the Pass deals, visit an SNCF station or boutique in France.
How I overcome this problem?

There is no discount if you travel without using a travel day.
You must choose 2nd class reservations on the night train if you have a 2nd class pass. If you choose 1st class you will have to pay extra on board the train.
I have written right at the beginning that reservations on rail.shop/sncf/reservation are only available for trains _in_ France and that you have to buy reservations for the train Munich - Paris or Paris - Barcelona at a station as they are not available online. So, you can buy the reservation Munich - Paris for instance at Budapest or Vienna station or look for another connection.
I can suggest:
Vienna 2325 - 0820 Zurich :arr: 5€ seat reservation
Zurich 0834 - 0927 Basel
Basel 1021 - 1045 Mulhouse
Mulhouse 1056 - 1337 Paris :arr: TGV, 9€ seat reservation available on rail.shop/sncf/reservation
There are frequent connections from Zurich to Basel in case the night train has a delay - for instance Zurich 0900 - 0952 Basel

If we do these. And we don't book anything now. Will trains be available? And are there often itinenaries, if we miss a train, so as to reach Paris before 00:00? Will we find for sure for 10 Euros fixed no more in Bratislava for Vienna-Zurich?
Please also suggest me what to do in Zurich in 6 hours without spending money.

I dont know why the registration for the reservations dont work - you should contact interrail.eu directly.
To be clear: You can never predict availability 100% accurately; but it should be no problem to travel this connection via Zurich. The good thing, when travelling the slow connection via Mulhouse - Belfort - Troyes is, that you do not need a reservation at all.
You can look for connections using [ux]http://plan.rail.cc[/ux]
The best thing is to search step by step. Look for connections to Mulhouse first (without ICE/TGV/high speed trains), then look for connections from Mulhouse to Paris (with and without ICE/TGV/high speed trains).

I send the email and they fixed the problem. Thanks. i just think we would be tired to change 4 trains to Paris, thats why we prefer reservation. But if its not possible we will do the option with Mullhouse. I communicated with Austria's train station via email and they can make reservations through mail. Thank you again.

My trip is at last final. I booked all the tickets I needed. Your advice was really helpful. I booked some through Austria phone service. Others through sncf. If anyone needs my final trip and train connections feel free to ask me post it. If it is useful for the improvement of the site I can also post it and make some comments.
