Hi,
In the summer I'm planning an interrail trip including but not limited to Berlin, Croatia and Budapest lasting a maximum of 2 weeks. Does anyone have a suggested route plan, and ideas of cities/Stopoffs along the way?
Thanks

Hi!
The 5in15 pass obviously would be a good choice for you. Where are you going to start in Croatia? Split...Zagreb...Dubrovnik (no railway connection there)?
Personally I really like Belgrade so you could travel Zagreb - Belgrade - Budapest - Krakow - Prague - Berlin. This would be quite classic tour of eastern Europe...alternatively you could also think of travelling to smaller cities...maybe think about Zagreb - Budapest - Salzburg or Salzkammergut (have a look at Hallstatt/Bad Aussee/Bad Goisern/Bad Ischl), then to Nürnberg and onwards to Cesky Krumlov/Kutna Hora/Loket before finally going to Berlin.
Or travel to Italy from Croatia (think about Verona, Milano, Bergamo), then across the Swiss Alps https://rail.cc/blog/zurich-milano-albula-bernina/ and by night train to Budapest - Prague - Berlin?
Or you head for the Baltic Sea: Zagreb - Budapest - Prague - Krakow - Gdansk/Szczecin/Kolobrzeg/Leba - Berlin.

Thank you! :)

Hm..if you have 14 days max and want to stay 4-5 days in Berlin you could think about just buying regular tickets instead of an Interrail pass. So you could just go Split - Zagreb - Budapest (buy tickets locally) and then buy a ticket to Berlin via [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
Around Split, have a look at Trogir. Then you could also visit Plitvice Lakes (by bus from either Split or Zagreb). Another alternative would be to take a bus Split - Mostar, then go to Sarajevo - bus to Belgrade - train to Budapest - Berlin.
