Hey. I'm attempting to plan 2-weeks trip coming March 2016. It will be my first time travelling to that part of the world and I know absolutely nothing about it.
1. May I know how I can get from Amsterdam - Belgium - Calais (France) - London (2 nights at most here) and back to Amsterdam?
2. Should I get a rail pass of some sort?
Also, please feel free to suggest places I could visit along that route. Please and thank you!! I really need all the help I can get.

Hi Miclye,
There are many ways to travel of course. First off, have a look at our blogs! You can find many examples here.

https://rail.cc/blog/eurostar-brussels-london-video/
https://rail.cc/blog/amsterdam-brussels-train/
https://rail.cc/blog/from-london-to-amsterdam-with-the-dutchflyer/
All the information needed can be found here!
When you book your tickets in front you can find some lower prices, but a pass can be considered.
Amsterdam is pretty much on every Interrailers’ list. But have a look at Rotterdam as your typical second city of the Netherlands or Utrecht as an variation on Amsterdam.
For traveling towards Brussel or Antwerpen from the Netherlands take: The Thalys, fast but expensive; Or the Intercity Brussel, 'always' cheap but slower. Throughout the day available.
Traveling by Eurostar train is the most expensive option but the fastest as well. A ticket in discount is more than 110 euro one way.
London is a beautiful city of course. Make sure you visit Camden Town, Greenwich Royal Observatory or Buckingham Palice.
Your way home is predictable as well with the Dutchflyer.
Have a good trip! For more questions, just ask!

Hi!
Like Wouter already posted, I would recommend to make one trip with the Eurostar, the other by ferry.
Do you want to go to Calais for a special reason or just to take the ferry to get to Dover (and see the white cliffs of Dover)?
To get from Amsterdam (or any Dutch city, in case you are going to visit another city too) to Belgium, book your ticket on the website of either Dutch Railway at [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux] or Belgian Railway at https://rail.shop/sncb
To travel within the Netherlands and Belgium it probably will be sufficient to book tickets locally as you go.
From Brussels you can then get the Eurostar to London, see more information in the blog Wouter posted.
Then, go back to the Netherlands with the Dutchflyer ferry connection (link posted above as well). :)
Other cities to look at: Delft in the Netherlands, Antwerpen, Gent, Brugge in Belgium; Lille in France...you can also make daytrips from London...to Brighton, Oxford,...

Thanks Wouter and Flo!
I will check out the blogs you provided.
I don't have any special reason to go to Calais. It's just that a friend mentioned about it and I thought I should put it into the itinerary for now.
I'm now considering that instead of France, maybe I'd go to Dusseldorf instead. Hmmm, decisions decisions.
