Hello! I want to make a trip from Berlin , Prague, Auschwitz , Krakow , Budapest , Vienna , Munich and Berlin again , and will go from Lisbon to Berlin by plane and return the same point as the trip is cheaper. I want to go 1-10 February and would like a little help at all, in terms of trains and prices, where to buy the tickets and when , what better way to do this trip , it is actually possible to do this time , to give me advice . I've looked several trains and schedules on this site, but then I can not know the prices and are relamente right. I appreciate all the help ! :D

Hi!

Welcome to railcc. ;)
If you only have ten days I would recommend to skip at least one city; seven cities within ten days is too much IMO and you wont have enough time to enjoy each city. However, if you really want to go to all cities, you can of course do that.

One option would be to buy a 5in10 Interrail pass https://rail.cc/en/interrail-global-pass via our partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
If you buy the Interrail pass you would need additional seat reservations to travel from Prague to Krakow and from Krakow to Budapest; for all other trips you do not need a seat reservation. To get to Auschwitz from Krakow I would recommend to book an organised tour locally at your hostel, this will be the easiest way if you dont have much time.
With the five travel days of the Interrail pass you would have to skip one city of your list; an alternative would be to visit Budapest, Vienna or Munich just for a few hours and then continue to the next city.

Thank you for your answer.
I've never done such a trip and so do not really know very well how to guide me. The truth is that as cities are relatively close, like some try to visit as it will be the rare time I go to Vienna on purpose, or Budapest. I really appreciate their municipalities and liked that they could continue to help me. I do not understand what it is that pass that suggested to me, I mean that I can come and go wherever you want? as if you reserve seats? I thought to do some night trips and would save the hotel and take advantage this time to travel, however I do not know if it's possible.
I think the city could not go was Munich.
The plan he had thought was to reach Berlin, staying for two nights and on that day go out in the morning to where plague arrive around 15:30, and the times I saw on your site, I do not know if they are real or not. Plague would be staying for one night and the next night would pick up a train to Auswitz thus making a night journey, spend the day there and then go to krakow, in which case I found no train in your site. where sleep tonight and spend the other day, suida fazi again a night trip to Budapest, where he would arrive in the morning and stay one night, then leave for Vienna on a train at about 11 am and arrive there around 14h12 where so there would the afternoon and that again was a night trip to Munich, I would visit all day, picking up on that other night the night train to berlin and return to Lisbon flight. I know it is a lot of information but would greatly help your planning this trip.

I saw train price € 4.50 , was he dreaming ? I can not go buying tickets as they come to places? And that would possibly include beds in some longer trips ? I raramento ride my train and I have no idea how they are safe or not in these countries , if I can take the luggage at home or need to take great care . and if I can just fall asleep in one place and not be preoucupada with my stuff ?
Thank you again and I apologize for the information on the numbers as high .

Information on the Interrail pass: https://rail.cc/pt/primeiro-interrail

All timings on our websites are real; but we can only show examples, not every single train available. Please use a schedule planner like [ux]https://plan.rail.cc[/ux] to plan your trip.

Yes, you can also take advantage of night trains. You could go overnight: Prague - Krakow; Krakow - Budapest and then Vienna - Berlin. You will find a list of night trains here: https://rail.cc/pt/comboios-noturnos-interrail[/]

Like I said before, I recommend to go to Krakow; stay overnight in a hostel and join an organized tour to Auschwitz. This will be much easier.

4,50€ are the costs for a seat reservation in addition to your train ticket or Interrail pass.

All of these cities and countries are safe but you should be looking after your things.

If possible, dont use a translator or translate only very simple sentences at it gets hard to understand. ;)

Yes, the 5in10 pass would be enough. You can even visit all the cities if you visit one of them for only a few hours.

Sadly, the Munich - Berlin night train will no longer run in 2016.

A possible route could be:

Day 1 Berlin and over night to Munich (in that case you have to make sure to take a train that allows you to use the 1900 rule; otherwise leave Berlin in the late afternoon of day 1 or early morning of day 2)
Day 2 Munich and train to Vienna
Day 3 Vienna and train to Budapest
Day 4 Budapest
Day 5 Budapest and night train to Krakow
Day 6 Krakow and day trip to Auschwitz
Day 7 Krakow and night train to Prague
Day 8 Prague
Day 9 Prague and train to Berlin
Day 10 Berlin

You will need reservations for all night trains; you will have to buy them at a station during your trip.

Thaks! So you advise the ticket in the first class or the second? In Portugal you don´t use this classification.

About the trip is the opost i think but is good any away. Tanks.
When you don´t say night train means that i have to pick a train by day like in Vienna to Budapeste?
I can´t work very well with the plane of trip link, because i don´t now the name of the train stations.

In Portugal, CP uses 1st and 2nd class very well, they are also called Conforto and Turistica. I recommend 2nd class.

Yes, with train I mean travel during the day; night train means travel overnight.

If you just enter BERLIN and BUDAPEST the schedule planner usually shows you routes between the central stations in each town.
In Germany and Austria the central station usually is called Hauptbahnhof or Hbf; in Czech Republic it is Hlavni Nadrazi or hl n, in Poland it is Glowny or Gl; in Budapest the central stations are called Keleti (East), Nyugati (West) and Deli (South), most international trains start/end at Keleti.

You dont have to choose anything. Just enter departure and arrival station, date and time.

All prices shown are irrelevant for travelling with Interrail.

Hi.
There are frequent direct train connections between Berlin and Munich.
Please always tell what date and time you want to travel, then we can give you more details. Thank you! :)

Yes, that is very true. But most of the changes will only be some time problems. When you are not sure about this is to just plan your route as the day of tomorrow and change this later on with buying your tickets. For traveling with the CNL in february you will have no problems getting a reservation within December after the changes.

Berlin Hbf (tief) 21:35, Track 6 (CNL 1247 towards München Ost)
München Hbf 7:05, Track 11 (Takes you 9:30 h)

Have fun planning!

My excuses. I was too fast.
Sadly, the Munich - Berlin night train will no longer run in 2016.

The DB planner is already uptodate recording to the bahn.de . There maps are not sadly.
Yes you should change.....

If you want to travel overnight, you will have to change.

The last direct train on February 1 leaves Berlin at 1827 and arrives at Munich at 0041 - this means that you would need two travel days!
