Hi guys, I know this question has probably been posted a million times on here but ...

This is my proposed interrail route in March/April 2016
Amsterdam to Berlin
3 nights in Berlin
3 in Munich
3 in Prague
1 in Bratislava
2 in Budapest
2 in Vienna
2 in Venice
2 in Rome
2 in Milan
1 in Nice
3 in Barcelona
2 in Madrid

I'm wondering how much I should be looking at in terms of budget. I obviously want to do it as cheap as possible but I wouldn't mind the odd eat out meal and the odd beer here and now. Any advice and tips

Also Bratislava or skip it and over night train from Prague to Budapest ?

Thanks in advance

Hi!

Very roughly I'd calculate with something between 40-50€ per day on average. I'd budget with 20€ for accomodation (in a hostel); Amsterdam, Venice, Rome and Milan usually are more expensive, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest can be cheaper.
You will find many cheap options to get food, usually it is a good idea to ask the hostel staff for recommendations.

I'd take the night train to Budapest and visit Bratislava on the way to Vienna (or skip it). You could also think about travelling Amsterdam - Berlin; including Munich after Vienna, then travel to Milan via the Swiss Alps: https://rail.cc/blog/zurich-milano-albula-bernina/
Then Milan - Venice - Rome.
