Hi,
We live in Greece and we want to go to Italy by ferry. Is the route from Patra to Ancona included to the Interail Global card? I am asking because we live in Greece and as I know there are some districtions for the country a traveller lives.

THis is unclear. Practical experience with that is also very little, as most Greeks fly (cheaply) into a point further away to start that rail-adventure.
In NO way the ferry is free-one always has to pay port-tax, fuel supplmt and seasonal supplmt, and then its deck-space only, so also extra for seats (poltrone) or beds. It is limited to 2 inter-related companies, there are many more others.
As you are Elliniko, you are in the best positon to compare other ferries and other routes, these may cost not much more as all those supplmts together. In such case your pass date only has to start when you are in Italy, this is a kind of hidden cost anyway. PLus: just foning the ferry-comp from home seems to me the fastest and best way to ask about this for clarification-you speek Greek!?
