I'm looking into interrailing with my parter, were looking at getting the 22 day one. these are the places on our list but no idea if its too much or even possible!

London - Amsterdam - Berlin - Prague - Krakow - Vienna - Bratislava - Budapest - Venice - Rome - Florence - Milan - London

we'd also like to fit Lake Bled in but not sure where is best?

We'll fly to Amsterdam and then back from Milan.

We want to cover as much as possible so not bothered about just doing one night in most places and doing overnight trains!

Also what kind of money do you think we'll spend? is £1000 each reasonable? were not bothered about staying in 12 bed hostel rooms!

were looking at going april/may time.

So many routes to take and so many beautiful places to go I just can't decide, I'd love to have more time to do more places but 22 days is stretching it really as we are both in full time jobs so part of that would be unpaid!

Thanks

Hi Melissa.
So still a lot time to plan, schedules may still change a little bit, but some thoughts about your route. :)

This route is possible - if it is too much, you can still skip the one or other place while you are traveling. That's the advantage of Interrail.

UK to Amsterdam: is possible by Rail&Sail: https://rail.cc/blog/from-london-to-amsterdam-with-the-dutchflyer/

I would change the order to this: ... Krakow - Budapest - Bratislava - Vienna - LAKE BLED - Venice ...
It is easy to get to Bled from Vienna via Villach, free of reservation fees.
If you come from Budapest in direction of Bled, you could include Zagreb and Ljubljana.

Border crossing from Slovenia to Italy is easy by local bus in Gorizia (EUR 1,20). I will write a blog about this these days: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog[/ux]

For a calculation: have a look here for hostel prices - [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]
GBP 1000 = EUR 1400
Interrail Pass 22 days = EUR 360 - https://rail.cc/en/interrail-global-pass
~ EUR 1040 left for 22 days
Flights?

So you will have about EUR 40 per day, that's really good!! :)

Pete :)
