Hi,
I just wanted to double check for the Rome-Berlin train, does it count as 1 travel day?
It leaves Rome at 19:04, and arrives in Berlin at 13:08, however there is a change in Munich at 06:30. This is the bit that confuses me, due to the 7pm rule, because I'd arrive in Berlin after 4am, but does it count Munich as my destination? or does it not matter because the travel day is that day?

Thanks

As you have found, its NOT 1 train. YOu CAN use 1 IR day from 0.01-till 24.00-as often and as far as you like/can fit in, PLUS ONLY if you use an overNIGHTtrain from the day before after 19.00-and end that trip after midnite, that too (bot NOT BEFORE the 1st day of validity!!). You can use any of the dozens of trains MUC-BER or, if you want to see more of Germany, make detours via Frankfurt, Dresden, Kleingrossniederoberuntenhausenundkaninchenmitkuhelein, whatever you fancy.
BUT if you are ITaliano, then you cannot use IR inside IT.
