Hi all,

My brother and I are planning to head from Milan to Alp Grum on the 30th July.
I have tried my best to find a suitable time to leave Milan, having booked a room at the Alp Grum hotel, but it seems to me that we need to leave at 7.20 am!

We're not prepared to rise and shine at 7 unfortunately and it would bring us to our destination early afternoon, which is not what we want either.

I have seen that there are other train operators, some that leave at 14.20 (much preferrable!).
Is this still the same route as the Bernina express?

We're just a little stuck... :(

Thanks!

Hi!

There are two hourly trains from Milano to Tirano, the starting point of the Bernina railway. From Tirano there is one regional train every hour plus a few Bernina Express trains each day - both run of course the same route so I would recommend to travel with the regular regional trains to save the reservation fee.

Thank you! :)
