Hi guys,

Is there any other way to get from Oslo to Amsterdam apart from Oslo - Copenhagen and Copenhagen - Amsterdam (with a probable overnight stay in Copenhagen, given the schedules)?

Thanks in advance :)

NB: I'm thinking maybe some more direct route, or maybe a little bit quicker, like for example the night train Oslo - Amsterdam that unfortunately doesn't exist anymore...

There isn't an other way than Copenhagen when you will travel by train.

Oslo S - Göteborg Central
Göteborg Central - Koebenhavn H X2000 To: Oesterport st
Koebenhavn H - Hamburg Hbf ICE (Boat trip)
Sleeping in Hamburg
Hamburg Hbf - Osnabrück Hbf ICE Flughafen Wien
Osnabrück Hbf - Amsterdam Centraal IC

This is a 2 day trip with sleep in Hamburg. You could sleep in Copenhagen as well ofcourse, maybe even better.

Traveling via Odense and Fredericia to Hamburg would also be a challenge!

I was personaly thinking that you can use the boat Oslo - Kiel, Color Lines.
Oslo - Kiel 2 PM
Arrival 10 AM next day
Crossing: 20 hours.
Only problem given is that they do not advert with any passenger only (everything by car).

You could also have a look at the Oslo - Copenhagen ferry by DFDS or Oslo - Frederikshavn by Stena Line.
