Hi,
I'm very new to travelling so I have some basic questions about the route I plan to take:
Berlin (Germany) - Prague (Czech Republic) - Krakow (Poland) - Vienna (Austria) - Budapest (Hungary) - Belgrade (Serbia) - Dubrovnik (Croatia) - Bari (Italy) - Rome (Italy) OR Florence (Italy) - Venice (Italy).
Is it doable or am I trying to cram too much into one trip?
Are there easier alternative routes to where I want to go? Though I would definitely prefer to start in Berlin due to cheap flights from the UK.
I'm planning on taking the ferry from Dubrovnik to Bari. Does this come free with interrail or would it be best just to pay for it and save the travel day?
I don't think I plan on staying in Bari overnight so is there a better route from Dubrovnik?
I absolutely want to go to Venice but is it worth the amount of travel from Bari?
The trip will be 25 days as I'll be staying in Berlin for 3 before I start my pass.
If anyone has any suggestions I would definitely appreciate them. Thank you.

Hi!
This trip should be doable without big problems up until Belgrade. You can think about taking a night train from Prague to Krakow as well as from Krakow to Vienna and Budapest to Belgrade.
Dubrovnik has no rail connection though - the closest you could get would be to take a train from Belgrade to Montenegro (Podgorica or Bar) and then take a bus along the coast to Dubrovnik.
The ferry from Dubrovnik to Bari is not included in Interrail.
From Bari, it would be absolutely no problem to continue to Rome and onwards to Florence and Venice. In fact, it would be easier to get to Rome than to Florence; you can of course also travel directly from Bari to Venice via Bologna.

Thank you! :)
