Hi everyone,
We are going to do an Interrail (22 days) this summer and I have some questions about how to book the trains and the changes we have to do.
Our route is this: Bayonne-Paris (16 of July), Paris-Bruges (18 of July), Bruges-Amsterdam (21 of July), Amsterdam-Berlin (24 of July), Berlin-Budapest (27 of July), Budapest-Rome (31of July) and Rome-Perpignan (3 of August).
We have already booked the train from Bayonne to Paris here http://es.voyages-sncf.com/es/, but the problem starts when we want to go to Bruges we have to make 3 changes and we can not book them on the internet. I don't know if its better to book the trains or not.
In some webs we have been searching it's possible to book a ticket but they don't tell nothing about the Interrail Pass, so they tell the cost of a ordinary ticket.
So, it would help us if someone could tell us which is the best web to book, because in that one (voyages-sncf.com) the non-French trains are very expensive.
Thanks
PS: At first we wanted to go to London instead of Bruges but now we know that is more expensive because Eurostar is not included in the Interrail Pass.

Hi.
Interrail is your ticket for your travels. Only some trains require an extra reservation. Read here for details: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
For Bayonne to Paris you can use this booking link [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf/reservation[/ux]. Then you are forwarded to voyages-sncf but you support the free information we offer on railcc - same price, etc for you. Thank you.
Reservation for a direct TGV on this route should be EUR 9/18.
Paris to Brugges: it is possible by FREE trains, no need to buy an extra reservation, just use your Interrail pass and that's it. If you want to speed it up, use the TGV Paris to Lille and from there free IC trains.
Brugges to Amsterdam, also possible by free trains.
Amsterdam-Berlin: free - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/amsterdam-to-berlin
Berlin - Budapest: free - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/berlin-to-budapest
Or use the inexpensive night train: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/berlin-budapest-en-477/53
How to you want to travel Budapest to Rome: in one step via Vienna? Or some stops in between?
Same for Rome to Perpignan? Stops? Marseille, Nice or before in Italy?
In the Pyrenees a cool route is the Petit Train Jaune: https://rail.cc/blog/little-yellow-train-video/
And please be fair and support the free help you get. railcc is official partner of interrail.eu. Buy your ticket via this partner link (click right before you order: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]). Same prices and you get your free PLUS account here on railcc for more detailed help: https://rail.cc/en/plus
Thank you! :)
