Hi there,

I'm an Australian passport holder but have been in university in the UK since the 21st of September 2014 and my student visa is valid until October 2017.

From what I've read of the forums it says that I am valid to get an interrail pass but on the interrail website it says Working visas and/or travel visas can also not be used as proof of residency. This has made me a bit unsure on what my options are.

Am I valid to get an interrail pass as a UK resident with my student visa?

Thanks for the help,
Liam

PS: If a student visa with a stamp of my arrival date is not enough, then what would I require and any ideas how I could go about obtaining it?

Hi Liam.

Usually a residency permit is that what you need - a card or document showing that you are resident of the UK and that you live in city XYZ.
If you have such an official document, you are allowed to buy and travel with Interrail.

railcc is official partner of interrail.eu - if you buy your Interrail pass via our partner link (click right before you order) [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux], you get a railcc PLUS account for detailed and extended help for your Interrail trip. Thank you to support all the free information we offer on railcc. :)
