Hi.
I personally would include an overnight train. For a detailed schedule I need your travel date.

A)
Rotterdam via Amersfoort to Berlin: buy at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn/Rotterdam-Centraal/Berlin-Hbf[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux]
Tickets available from EUR 39

Berlin to Budapest by overnight train: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/berlin-budapest-en-477/53
Buy tickets for this night train at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn/Berlin-Hbf/Budapest/1800[/ux]
Tickets available from EUR 29

B)
Rotterdam to Munich: buy at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn/Rotterdam-Centraal/Munich-Hbf[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux]
Tickets available from EUR 39

Munich to Budapest by overnight train: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/munich-budapest-en-463/55
Buy tickets for this night train at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn/Munich-Hbf/Budapest/2300[/ux]
Tickets available from EUR 29

The ticket prices depends on the comfort class in the night train and on the date you book - as earlier, as cheaper it is.

If you have more questions, please just let me know! :)

Pete :)

Hi!

To get cheapest fares, you will have to split the journey in two parts, buying separate tickets for each leg. Plan with a sufficiently long stop at the station where you split the tickets, at least one hour to cope for potential delays.

There are different routes possible:
a) Rotterdam - Vienna, book via [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux] then Vienna - Budapest, book via https://rail.shop/oebb
b) Rotterdam - Munich, book via [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux] then Munich - Budapest, book via [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
c) Rotterdam - Berlin, book via [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux] then Berlin - Budapest, book via [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]

Since the journey is rather long, you could think about including a night train. When are you going to travel?

No wish to return? is this only for that Sziget Festival? Age?
In most cases flying (WIZZ from EHV is cheaper anyway), or eurolines bus.. As for now near impossible-the nasty german locdrivers from the old DDR are on strike again for undetermined period.
