Hi, I'm heading interrailing for either 3 weeks or a month, starting July 11th and would appreciate any help with planning a route.
I want to incorporate the following; Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Prague, Budapest and Croatia (anyone recommend where is worth going in Croatia?)
I would also appreciate any suggestions of other places to stop along the way.
Thanks a lot! :)

Hi!
Your route is pretty straightforward and you dont have to worry much about extra reservations etc... :)
Hamburg - Berlin - Prague - Budapest is all covered by at least two-hourly direct trains with no extra reservations to be paid. Prague - Budapest could be done by night train: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/prague-budapest-en-477/282
Amsterdam - Hamburg: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/amsterdam-to-hamburg
Obvious destinations (as they are connected to the railway system) would be Zagreb and Split. You could also think about going to Istria (Pula), Zadar, Osijek, Sibenik which are all accesible by train, albeit the connections are sometimes quite awkward. Only accessible by bus would be Dubrovnik and Plitvice.
I think a 10in22 pass would be a good choice for you. If the pass had ended you could still travel around Croatia by bus.
Before that you could think of adding Rotterdam, Den Haag, Delft in the Netherlands; Potsdam and Dresden in Germany, Plzen, Cesky Krumlov, Kutna Hora, Brno in Czech Republic, maybe also Krakow in Poland or Vienna in Austria...

Thank you! :)
