Hello everyone..
This summer i will go in my first interrail. I have a global pass, 22 days. What kind of shoes should I use? Walking shoes? Waterproff? Shoes for hot weather?
Thanks : :D

Hi.
It depends on where you travel to. :)
I personally always wear the shoes I also wear here at home. Comfortable hiking-shoes or sneakers - and in summer time some flip-flops.
Flip-flops are also good if you go showering in a dirty shower plus the hiking-shoes/sneakers = perfect. :)
In total: don't put too much in your backpack. Nearly every hostel offers the option to wash your clothes. Or you always find launderette close to stations.
And don't forget: get your free PLUS profile - and support at the same time the free information on railcc. Make sure to click our partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] (to interrail.eu) right before you order your official Interrail pass to get the PLUS service. Same service, same prices for you. One simple click and you help. Thank you! :)

Hi!
Last year I brought:
- Low converses (cities on rainy days, short hikes, festivals)
- Sandals (cities on sunny days, which was very nice because I wouldn't get sweaty feet in them :p)
- Flip-flops (shower, beach) > my flipflops aren't comfortable enough to walk on for a full day, so thats why I also brought the sandals
Best idea is to take shoes with you that you feel comfortable on. If you're doing a lot of hiking I would suggest bringing some sturdy hiking shoes, but for cities you just need to be able to walk around all day without dying of sore feet ;) So just like Pete I'd suggest to just bring your normal everyday shoes.
By the end of my trip I didn't have a lot of room left in my backpack (souvenirs and stuff...) so I tied my shoes to the outside of my backpack (this is my backpack http://sport.popina.cz/images/lowe_alpine_cholatse_II_nd_50_60.jpg , I put the shoes under the yellow straps and then attached them to it with the sandal straps or shoe laces). Worked fine!
