Peter,

Do you know how much is the reservation to Sofia - Skopje and Skopje - Beogrard?
My trip is starting in Istanbul passing for Sofia, Skopje, Beogrard, Budapeste, Vienna, Salzburg, Praha and finishing in Berlin.

Tks.

Jorge

Hi ...

night train booking to get the InterRail discounted tickets is not possible to do online in Eastern Europe.
but I recommend the international ticket office for train tickets (it is run by the Bulgarian railway company) at Sofia main station. it is in the left corner (coming from main entry) - beside the night train office/lounge. they have nearly everything for Eastern Europe. just be nice and smile to the old ladies there. :)

Sofia - Skopje is one of these trains, depends at what time you travel (just click at the schedule planer on the train number to find out departure and final destination - so you know which train you will use):
https://rail.cc/en/bucharest-istanbul-night-train/f1639
https://rail.cc/en/sofia-belgrade-vienna-night-train/f1847 (you can compare the fares with this train as it is also a Bulgarian night train)

Skopje - Belgrade:
https://rail.cc/en/thessaloniki-skopje-belgrade-night-train/f1636
or a free day train.

Peter :)

there is no direct train Sofia - Skopje. You have to go via Niš (Serbia) or by bus.

Hej,

there are no stupid questions. ;)

No, you do not have to book a full compartment. If you are travelling alone you can book only one berth in a couchette, no problem.
