Hi, my wife, daughter and I are planning to go InterRailing in July 2015, starting in Berlin and ending in Krakow two weeks later. Our desired places to visit are: Prague, Lake Bled and Budapest. But this may be too many places to visit in a short time. Hopefully you can help us with suggestions to a nice trip between the two cities. Thanks for reading this if you have, and any help would be brilliant!

Hi!

If you would add one extra stop this would be perfect for the 5in10 Interrail ticket.

A two weeks trip could look as follows:

1 Berlin
2 Berlin
3 Berlin
4 Berlin - Dresden - Prague, first day of validity of your 5in10 pass (optional stop in Dresden for a few hours)
5 Prague
6 Prague - Vienna
7 Vienna
8 Vienna - Ljubljana - Bled (visit Ljubljana for a few hours, then continue to Bled)
9 Bled
10 Bled - Ljubljana - Budapest
11 Budapest
12 Budapest and night train to Krakow
13 Krakow, last day of validitiy of your 5in10 pass
14 Krakow

Of course this can be altered slightly, for instance staying just two days in Berlin and adding this day at another place.
Also, if you want to travel another night train, you could go Prague - Vienna overnight (but this is a very short journey) or swap the route to Prague - night train to Budapest - Bled - Vienna - night train to Krakow

If your daughter is 11 years or younger she can travel for free in the companion of an adult with a valid Interrail pass.
On this route you would only need a reservation for the night train to Krakow > https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/budapest-krakow-en-476/137 all other trains can be used without a reservation.

To support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - use this link right before your purchase, thank you! :)
