I am leaving on interrail tomorrow, and have a few questions about luggage.
I have written a list and packed the most important things, but I am a bit unsure about the clothes

I'm thinking
- 2 pair of jeans
- A shorts
- A skirt
- 5 shirts
- 1 thin sweater and 1 thick sweater
- 1 cardigan
- Underwear

Is this too much? As it is April, I assume it wont be too warm outside, so I need a various of clothes..

When it comes to jackets, I would prefer not to bring a raincoat. Is this a stupid choice?
I am travelling France, Italy and east-Europe. I wondered if I could manage with a warmer jacket, and a thin spring-jacket..

And what shoes will be smart to bring? I have a pair of good walking-shoes, and flip-flops for dirty showers, but any tips other than that? I was considering Converse maybe?

Thank you for your help!

Hi!

Woah, you're leaving tomorrow and just ask now? ;)
...I think the list looks ok; you could probably also do with one jeans and shirt less but personally I prefer to have a bit more clothes with me.
If you dont bring a raincoat, think at least about a small umbrella - it is not unlikely that you will get some rainy days. Currently it is quite cold and windy in wide parts of central Europe (Ive been to Düsseldorf and Utrecht last week where trains where cancelled because of the storm and here in Austria it is still quite cold and windy with even some snow). If it would remain cold you should be ok with your thick sweater plus the warmer jacket but hopefully it will get warm during the next days... :)

Shoes: Whatever you feel really comfortable with if you plan on walking much. Usually I take my Waldviertler with me for general walking/hiking plus a pair of sneakers for going out in the evening etc.
I once also travelled with Converse/Vans which were quite ok as well.

Have a nice trip! :)
