Hi there,
This is an extremely silly question, but I just wanted to clarify something.
Part of my ideal route for interrailing is Lake Bled/ljubljana-Salzburg. I have seen train routes which pass through Ljubljana and onto Salzburg, normally stopping in Ljubljana for about 15-20 minutes. I just want to double check that I would be able to board these trains as they pass through and onto Salzburg?
Would it also be easier to get a train from Lake Bled to Villach? And then get on a train to Salzburg from there? Or is it better to get back to Ljubljana by bus and take a train from there?
I hope that makes sense, any help appreciated!!

Hi.
There are two railway stations at Lake Bled: https://rail.cc/en/bled/station/c
Lesce Bled: https://rail.cc/en/bled/lesce-bled-railway-station-/l1903
Bled Jezero: https://rail.cc/en/bled/bled-jezero-railway-station/l1902
From Lesce Bled you have a direct train to Salzburg. If you travel with a rail pass (Interrail) you travel for free without an extra reservation.
Schedule: http://plan.rail.cc/Lesce-Bled/Salzburg-Hbf/1000
Starting from Bled Jezero, you will have to change in Jesenice.
There is no need to go back to Ljubljana! :)
Please help and support the free information on railcc. Make sure to use our partner link [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] (to interrail.eu) right before you order your official Interrail pass. Same service, same prices for you. But you support with this simple click all the free information on railcc. Thank you! :)
Pete :)
