Which is better route: Munich to Prague via Salzburg/Linz

Hi, which is better route, Salzburg to Munich then to Prague, or Salzburg to Linz then to Prague? (as far as scenery) Also, if I go through Munich, do I change trains between Munich and Prague? thanks,

Hi!

I'd say both routes are about equal - no spectacular mountain railways but nice scenery through valleys and rolling countries on long parts of each route.
Regarding comfort en route I'd personally prefer the route via Munich as you would then have restaurant cars on both trains. There are four direct trains Munich - Prague.
