I am traveling with my family of 6. I am looking for a train from Nice to Munich with as little stops as possible. A private cabin is preferred and plenty of scenery. Can someone give suggestions for such a route. I'd like to leave early am and arrive in Munich by the end of the same day.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

FYI ---- Rail Europe does not show these routes on their site

Thank you

Jerry

Hi Jerry!

The best connection would be the following:

Nice Ville 0809 - 1250 Milano Centrale
Milano Centrale 1505 - 1627 Verona Porta Nuova
Verona Porta Nuova 1702 - 2221 München Hbf

The Nice - Milano train is operated by Thello and will start operating from 12 April. You can book it through [ux]https://rail.shop/omio[/ux]
The Milano - Munich connection is available through our affiliate link of German Railways at [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn/Milano/Munich-Hbf[/ux]

There would be also a connection from Milano at 1305, however I would not recommend to get a ticket for this connection since having just 15 minutes to change trains in Milano might not be sufficient in case of delays etc of the train from Nice and your ticket from Milan to Munich is fixed on a certain train.
