Hello

Profile: We are a young couple (22 and 24) and we would like to go Interrailing in September 2015. We want to try and avoid long train rides (> 3,5hrs) during the day and use night trains where possible.

Pass type: We would use the 10 in 22 days global pass.

Our route would be:
(Flying from Brussels)
Krakow (Including a day trip to Auschwitz) - I heard that the train to Auschwitz is not recommended but by bus?
Bratislava - I read a few topics where people were told to skip this city. Why is that? Is the night train connection between Krakow and Bratislava any good?
Vienna
Graz - Graz and Maribor are variable stops. Are they worth it?
Maribor
Ljubljana - We would do a day trip to Lake Bled, or is it worth staying the night there?
Zagreb
Zadar - We picked Zadar mainly because Ryanair flies to it.
(Fly back to Brussels)

Is this a realistic travel route in 22 days? Thanks in advance :)

Hi!

IMO you could still add a few other places such as Prague, Budapest to your route to get more value out of your pass.
Graz is definitely worth a stopover on the way to Ljubljana, Maribor is quite small and you could skip it IMO (Ljubljana is about the same size as Graz).
Bratislava also is rather small so maybe thats why some people suggest to skip it in favour of other cities (like Budapest or Prague).
You could also think about flying into Wroclaw instead of Krakow and start your trip there; then go to Krakow from there. The train to Krakow takes quite long compared to the bus and there should even be organised trips to Auschwitz - just ask at your hostel/hotel.

Thank you! :)
